Summary of Allegations Against Father William Charles Hildebrand:

Father William Charles Hildebrand was ordained a Marianist priest in 1979, who served in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. According to media reports, the first allegations against him arose in 2014. Four adult males told stories of being inappropriately touched by Father William Hildebrand. The first victim attended North Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, between 1952 and 1956. He said that Hildebrand rubbed his bottom while he was on crutches, and the victim told him to get off.

The second victim also attended North Catholic, but in the 1960s. He alleged that Father Hildebrand would take boys behind the school bookstore counter, give them sex talks, and touch them inappropriately. He said he was one of the boys touched by Father Hildebrand.

The third victim attended North Catholic from 1959 to 1961. He alleged that Hildebrand would keep him after school and tell him to pull his pants down, then fondle his genitals. He later dropped out of school but said this took place three to four times before that. The fourth victim went to North Catholic between 1956 and 1960 and said that Hildebrand sexually touched him.

Another man, who attended North Catholic in 1959, said that Father Hildebrand fondled his genitals when he was at the school bookstore. The victim came forward with these accusations in 2014 when he was 69 years old.

Hildebrand died in 1979. He was named publicly as accused in a priest profile in the 2018 Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report.
