Mr. Kevin Kulhanek is a registered sex offender in the state of Pennsylvania. According to the police report, he was convicted in April 2006 for indecent assault of a complainant less than 13 years of age. There are no additional details about the case or conviction. He has been listed on the offender registry since October 2013.

According to media reports, in April 2019, Kulhanek, a former lay school volunteer in the Diocese of Erie, was included in the Diocese of Erie list of lay people associated with the church who have been credibly accused of actions that, in the diocese’s judgment, disqualify that person from working with children. These actions range from corruption of minors to direct physical sexual abuse or sexual assault of minors.

The Diocese of Erie has not released any additional information about the allegation(s) against Kocher, including the age/gender of his victim(s) or the number of allegation(s) made against him, or if they are different than those listed on his sex offender registry.
