Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Dorino DeLazzer:

Father Dorino DeLazzer was ordained to the priesthood in 1969, and served in multiple parishes in the Archdiocese of Denver.  He was a popular priest at St. Mary’s, where the reception hall was named for him during his tenure from 1984 to 1991. He retired as pastor of Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Boulder in 2005.

According to media reports, in 2010, the Archdiocese of Denver withdrew him from all ministry and placed him on administrative leave after learning of sexual abuse allegations from a woman. The alleged abuse of a minor happened in the 1970s in an unnamed state and diocese prior to DeLazzer’s arrival in Denver.  The Archdiocese of Denver would not release any additional information about the accusations and DeLazzer denied the accusations.

DeLazzer currently lives in Denver, Colorado.
