Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Anthony Boucher:

In 2018, Fr. Anthony Boucher was included on the Diocese of Albany list of priests who were named as being “credibly accused” of child sex abuse. This list contains names of Diocese of Albany clergy who have been removed from ministry and those who were deceased or resigned prior to a finding of reasonable grounds by the Diocesan Review Board due to sexual misconduct with a minor.

Very little is known of Boucher’s activities within the church as the Diocese of Albany has not released any information about Boucher’s assignment history. In addition, information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Boucher’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

He died in November 1972.
