Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Francis Bell:

Fr. Francis Bell was a priest of the Diocese of Albany who worked in Glencross, South Dakota. In 2019, Bell was included on a list of priests in the Diocese of Albany who was named as being “credibly accused” of child sex abuse. The Diocese of Albany has not released any information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse or Brault’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

According to the Diocese of Rapid City, it notes that in April 1993, an allegation was received regarding abuse dating back from 1965 to 1967.

Bell died in 1967.
