Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Edito D’Amora:
Father Edito D’Amora was ordained in the Philippines to the Diocese of Dipolog in 1980, who also served in the Diocese of Orange. According to media reports, in 1991, a 10-year-old girl accused Father D’Amora of sexually abusing her on two occasions, while he was visiting her family home in San Diego in 1983.
According to media reports, in March 2007, Father D’Amora was included on the “List of Priests Against Whom There are Credible Allegations” released by the Diocese of San Diego. In October 2010, his personnel file was released along with that of other priests involved in the 2008 San Diego settlement. He was named in at least one civil lawsuit. His current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown, although it is believed that he has been living in Lake City, Florida since 2017.
