Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Timothy Ramaekers:
Father Timothy Ramaekers was ordained a priest in 1982, who served in the Diocese of Orange. According to media reports, in 2009, a civil suit was filed claiming Father Timothy Ramaekers sexually abused a boy over two decades earlier. According to the lawsuit, Father Ramaekers molested the boy from 1978-1986 when he was a student at St. Justin Martyr Church and School in Anaheim, California. Father Ramaekers denied the allegations. He was not placed on leave. Notably, Ramaekers worked at St. Justin Martyr alongside two notorious priest predators, Sigfried Widera and Robert Foley.
Following an investigation by the Diocese of Orange Sexual Misconduct Oversight and Review Board, the allegations were deemed to not be credible, and no action was taken against Father Ramaeker. In May 2012, he was given a new parish. As of 2018, he was still working as a priest at Corpus Christi in Aliso Viejo, California.
