Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Yusaf Dominic:

Father Yusaf Dominic, a native of Pakistan, was ordained a priest and served in the Archdiocese of Newark and in the New York City area. There have been several variations of his name, depending on where he worked, including Dominic Yusaf. According to media reports, he was accused of sexually abusing minor boys in several countries.

In late 1996, Father Dominic was arrested and convicted of molesting two young boys at St. Bernard Parish in London in the Westminster Archdiocese in the 1980s in England. He denied the charges. He was sent to a clergy treatment center in rural England run by the Servants of the Paraclete religious order.

In early 1997, Father Dominic flew home to Pakistan. He told reporters that he fled after treatment center officials forced him to sign an admission of abuse. He eventually returned to ministry, and in 2004, he was found working as assistant pastor in Albissola Marina, leading a small parish for the Diocese of Savona-Noli in Italy.
