Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Anthony Jablonowski: 

Father Anthony Jablonowski was ordained a priest in 1970, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Charlotte. According to media reports, in 2004, criminal charges were filed against Father Jablonowski for abusing a 17-year-old boy in 1982. Jablonowski pled no contest and was sentenced to a term of 15 months to 7 years in prison. His faculties to minister were formally removed by his religious order, the Glenmary Home Missioners.  

A second accuser filed a civil suit in March of 2005.

Anthony Jablonowski was released from prison in July of 2005, and was required to register as a sex offender. His laicization from the priesthood was announced in June of 2006. 

Jablonowski worked in many dioceses throughout his career and his name appears on the Tucson, Cheyenne, and Steubenville Dioceses’ lists of credibly accused priests, along with Glenmary Home Missioners list. 

According to news reports, Jabłonowski has four known adolescent male victims, with most of the abuse occurring from 1983-1988.

According to his sex offender registries, Jablonowski is residing in the Coal City, Indiana, area.
