Father Ronald Soutiere served as a priest in the Diocese of Burlington in Vermont for approximately 12 years spanning four decades. According to media reports, in April 2002, he resigned as pastor of St. Ann’s in Milton. In June 2002, he was placed on administrative leave. In November 2004, he was removed from ministry.

In August 2019, his name appeared publicly on the Diocese of Burlington’s list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors.
