Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Robert J. McConnin:

According to media reports, in 2007, the Diocese of Brooklyn received an allegation that Fr. Robert J. McConnin had sexually abused a minor boy in the 1980s. The allegation was investigated by the diocesan review board and “it was determined that the allegation was considered credible.” McConnin was removed from ministry. 

In February 2019, his name appeared publicly on the Diocese of Brooklyn’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted that he was laicized in April 2015. McKinnon was last reported to be living in Wilmington, Vermont.
