Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Roger Temme:

Father Roger Temme was a priest of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate order. According to media reports, in November 2018, his name appeared publicly on the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.  It noted an allegation of abuse in the late 1970s was received in 1995. No further details including age/gender of the victims are known. 

Father Temme has since left the priesthood. As of November 2019, he was found living in Austin, serving for nearly twenty years as a volunteer recruiter and trainer for The Care Communities, a nonprofit that provided support for those affected by serious illnesses, including cancer and HIV.
