Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Ronald Petroski:

According to media reports, in October 2002, Fr. Ronald Petroski was one of twelve priests and a religious brother named in a civil lawsuit filed by 43 plaintiffs alleging child sexual abuse. According to the suit, Petroski allegedly abused a minor male student in 1975 while working at St. Anastasia in Douglaston, New York. He was reportedly placed on leave in 1980 and removed from ministry in 1984.

In February 2019, Petroski’s name appeared publicly on the Diocese of Brooklyn’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.

Petroski died in December 1986.
