Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Brother Paul Kevin Hennessy:

Br. Paul Kevin Hennessy joined the order in 1949 and professed his final vows in 1958. He was named in a 2005 civil suit. According to reports, the plaintiff claimed he was sexually abused by Hennessy when he first joined the Congregation of Christian Brothers. Hennessy was the victim’s superior at Saint Joseph’s Hall when he allegedly sexually abused him in 1970. The plaintiff’s appeal was dismissed by the NY Supreme Court in 2009.

Hennessy was affiliated with Edmund Rice Christian Brothers North America Province in Venice, Florida since 2010 and was living in Arcadia, FL.

Hennessy died in 2020 at the Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, New York. His status as a priest, whereabouts, and whether he had access to children from 1995 until his death in 2020 is unknown.
