Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Fidencio Silva-Flores:

According to a list of priests credibly accused of sexual misconduct released by the Diocese of San Bernardino in October of 2018, in 1998, it became aware of allegations that Fr. Fidencio Silva-Flores engaged in child sexual abuse in 1979-1985 and 1995 in Oxnard and Lynnwood, CA. The incidents from the early eighties involved the alleged sexual abuse of eight boys at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Oxnard, CA.

Silva-Flores was removed in 1998, when he was serving at St. Philip Neri in Lenwood, CA. In 2002, he was charged with 25 counts of felony child molestation. Overall, Silva-Flores has been accused by at least 28 people of child sexual abuse occurring between 1979 and 1985 and named in at least 15 civil lawsuits alleging child sexual abuse.

Silva-Flores is considered permanently banned from ministry in the Diocese of San Bernardino and is believed to be living in his native country of Mexico.
