Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Lawrence Kurlandski:

Father Lawrence Kurlandski was ordained to the priesthood as a Resurrectionist priest in 1942, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of San Diego. According to media reports, in December 2003, a woman came forward alleging repeated child sexual abuse by the priest from 1947-1949. She said the alleged abuse occurred at St. Joseph’s in Fontana, California where Kurlanski was on assignment and molested her for years. No details of the alleged abuse or any further information has been released.

Father Kurlandski has been named in at least one civil lawsuit since 2003. The diocese has long preferred settling claims before they end up in court.

He is believed to have died in 1990.
