Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Thomas McElhatton:

Fr. Thomas McElhatton was ordained a Dominican priest in 1943 who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, he allegedly sexually abused at least two children at St. Dominic Catholic Church, one from 1943 to 1944, and another from 1950 to 1953. In November 2003, one of the victims filed a civil lawsuit against Fr. McElhatton, alleging child sexual abuse.

Fr. McElhatton was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2004 list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors.
