Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father William Finn:

Father William Finn was ordained a Carmelite priest, and served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in January 2013, his name was quietly added, along with 24 others, to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Final Addendum of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. His current whereabouts are unknown.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the 24 names were disclosed in a report posted on the archdiocese’s website along with 12,000 pages of internal records detailing how the church dealt with abuse claims. BishopAccountability.org, a non-profit group that researches and archives documents related to clergy sex abuse, originally uncovered the list and published the names of the suspected offenders.
