Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Francis Weber:

Father Francis Weber was ordained to the priesthood in 1941.  According to media reports, According to a 2004 Archdiocese of Los Angeles report, at least two survivors have come forward alleging child sexual abuse by , in approximately 1959, while he worked at St. John of God in Norwalk. No further information regarding the allegation including the age or gender of the victims was disclosed.

Father Weber retired in 1983 and died in 1989. His name appeared on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2004 list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. To clarify, the Father Francis Weber accused of child sexual abuse, who died in 1989, is not Monsignor Francis Weber, archivist emeritus, who worked at San Fernando Rey Mission, who has never been accused of molestation.
