Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father John Pierson:

Fr. John Pierson worked in the Diocese of Monterey. In 2019, Fr. John Pierson was included the Diocese of Monterey’s 2019 List of accusations received after the clergyman was dead but appear plausible. Very little is known of Pierson’s activities within the church, as the Diocese of Monterey has not released any information about Pierson’s assignment history. The list does state that there was a report received in 1995 against Fr. John Pierson in reference to sexual abuse that took place from 1973-1979.

Fr. Pierson died in 1992.
