Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Mark Falvey:

Fr. Mark Falvey was a member of the Jesuits’ religious order. In 2002, Falvey was named in a lawsuit and overall was accused of abusing at least 10 children over 16 years, beginning in 1959.

According to media reports, Falvey was accused of molesting four girls and five boys between 1959 and 1975 at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Hollywood, California. Falvey worked in California, China, and the Philippines. In 2007, there was a settlement of $16M reached between 9 plaintiffs and the Jesuit order.

Fr. Mark Falvey is the brother of Fr. Arthur Falvey who also was accused of abuse in a 2009 settlement of a separate case.

According to reports, in 2015, Falvey was accused of abusing a survivor who resides in the Philippines when he was a freshman at Ateneo de Davao High School in Davao City, Philippines, in 1956. Falvey was also accused of molesting other students as well.

In 2004, Falvey was included on a list of priests Los Angeles Archdiocesan report named as being credibly accused of child sex abuse. In 2018, he was also included on the Jesuits West Province list named as being credibly accused of child sex abuse.

Falvey died in 1975.
