Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Noel Senevirante:

Fr. Noel Senevirante was a Jesuit priest from the Diocese of Trincornalee-Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of San Jose. According to media reports, in 2002, the Diocese received a report that Fr. Senivirante sexually abused a child while assigned to St. Leo the Great School from 1971 to 1972. He was permanently banned from ministry that year.

In 2018, his name was included on the Diocese of San Jose list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. It noted a report of abuse that took place at St. Leo the Great Parish from 1971-1972, was received in 2002. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse is unknown.

Fr. Senevirante died in 2009.
