Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Theodore Baquedano-Pech:

Fr. Theodore Baquedano-Pech was a visiting priest in San Francisco, California from Mexico. According to media reports, in 1993, he was accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl for several years when Baquedano-Pech was a visiting priest in San Francisco sometime between the 1960s-1970s.

The Archdiocese of San Francisco told the victim that there’s nothing they can do nor were they responsible because he was a visiting priest.

Very little is known of Baquedano-Pech’s activities within the church as the Archdiocese of San Francisco has not released any information about Baquedano-Pech’s assignment history nor the year he was ordained. In addition, information about the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Baquedano-Pech’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

It is only noted that Baquedano-Pech remained active in Yucatan in 2010.

Baquedano-Pech was removed from parish duties later in 2010. His status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
