Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Francis Edward Maloney:

Fr. Francis Edward Maloney was ordained for the Diocese of Steubenville in 1959. In 1986, Maloney was transferred to the Diocese of Palm Beach.

Maloney was forced to retire in 2000 after an allegation surfaced of a sexual relationship with another man while he was at St. Luke in Lake Worth, Florida.

In 2002, Maloney was removed from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church after a 17-year-old boy accused him of behaving inappropriately around him. The youth said he found Maloney in bed with another man and that the priest would walk around his home nude while the youth was there. This is all while the boy was given a job to clean Mahoney's to help the boy with some money.

According to media reports, no criminal charges were filed. The boy filed a civil suit in 2003 and it was settled the following year for less than $1M. Maloney admitted to a long-term, "sporadic" sexual relationship with the other priest.

His whereabouts until his death are unknown. Maloney died in 2011.
