In 2020, Fr. Michael Morse was included on a list of priests in the Diocese of St. Augustine who was named as being “credibly accused” of child sex abuse. Very little is known of Morse’s activities within the church as the Diocese of St. Augustine has not released any information about Morse’s assignment history. In addition, information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Morse’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.
It is only noted that the abuse took place from 1989-1991. Morse’s current whereabouts are unknown.
