In 2020, Fr. Richard Hart was accused in a lawsuit filed under the NY Child Victims Act of sexually abusing a 12-year-old child while serving at Guardian Angels School in Henrietta, NY, beginning in 1977. Fr. Hart died in 1994 at the age of 64.
