Fr. Paul Pinard was ordained a priest in Vermont for the Edmundites in 1959, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Norwich. The allegation was found to credible, and he was immediately removed from ministry.
In 2004, Pinard retired to the order’s residence in Florida. In 2005, the Norwich bishop learned of allegations and asked the order to remove him from the diocese. He moved to Selma, Alabama in 2013, and then to Vermont in 2016.
