Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Roger Comtois:

Fr. Roger Comtois was ordained to the priesthood in 1955, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Norwich. According to media reports, in February of 2019, The Diocese of Norwich included Fr. Comtois’s name on its “list of clergy with allegations of substance of sexual abuse of a minor.” The details of the allegations, including the information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, and Fr.  Comtois’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse are unknown.

In 1988, Fr. Comtois resigned from ministry and took a leave of absence. In 1992, he was in residence at St. Bernard Church in Rockville, CT until he died in 1998.
