Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Claudio Riol:
According to media reports, Father Claudio Riol was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Trujillo, Peru. In December 2004, Father Riol was listed on the Diocese of Tucson's list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. No information on the allegation regarding age/gender of the victim was given. He was not removed from ministry.
In April 2005, he was accused in a civil lawsuit of child sexual abuse at Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent in Tucson, Arizona.
It is believed Father Riol may have died in approximately 1972.
