Summary of Abuse Allegations Against Father Frank Parisi:
Father Frank Parisi was was ordained a priest in 1985. In May 2015, he celebrated his 30th anniversary in the priesthood. According to media reports, he served as the pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes in Malverne, New York for 11 years before voluntarily "stepping down" from his position. In June 2016, the Diocese of Rockville Centre suspended Father Parisi from ministry amid allegations of child sexual abuse that occurred in the mid-1990s at another parish.
Father Parisi announced the news in an open letter to parishioners. It was printed in the church's weekly bulletin and read at each mass over the weekend, that he had been accused of "inappropriate behavior with a minor." He served a congregation of over 2,400 families from Malverne and the surrounding areas.
Father Parisi is believed to currently be living in Malverne.
