Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Andrew Mulvaney:

Father Andrew Mulvaney was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Ogdensburg in 1968. He served in multiple parishes throughout his career. He also traveled as a priest to Germany, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Croatia, Macedonia, and Zagreb. Upon return to the States, he served in Fort Jackson, SC, Fort Bliss, TX, and finally, Fort Drum, where he retired in January 2003.

According to media reports, in August 2019, he was named in a lawsuit filed under the NY Child Victims Act alleging that he repeatedly sexually abused minor between 14-15 years old in 1978 and 1979. Father Mulvaney served at St. Joseph's Church in Malone in the late 1960s and again in the mid-1970s. No further details have been released.

In January of 1983, Father Mulvaney began his time with the  Following retirement from the Army, Father Mulvaney was assigned as pastor of St. Paul's Church, Black River, and St. Rita's in Deferiet until his retirement in 2012. He died in 2013 at the age of 71.
