Fr. Eugene Colosimo was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1943, who served as a teacher in multiple parishes in the Diocese of San Jose, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, AZ. He also spent many years doing parish work at St. Leander in San Leandro. According to media reports, in 2018, Fr. Colosimo was included on the Jesuits West Province list of credibly accused of child sex abuse. It noted allegations of child sexual abuse abuse that occurred from 1957-1959, were reported in 1993.
In 2018, Fr. Colosimo was included on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles' list of priests credibly accused of child sex abuse. It noted allegations of child sexual abuse abuse that occurred in 1978 were reported in 2016. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse is unknown.
Fr. Colosimo died at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos in 2006.
