Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Harold Danielson:
In 2005, Fr. Harold Danielson was accused of child molestation in a lawsuit in which he has proclaimed his innocence.
According to media reports, both the Salesians and the San Francisco archdiocesan review board investigated Danielson's allegation of child sex abuse. They came to the conclusion that the claims were "unsubstantiated".
However, the former chairman later claimed the Danielson's case was never brought to the review board while he was there and that the term "unsubstantiated" shouldn't be confused with a finding of guilt or innocence.
As of October of 2011, Danielson remains an active priest at SS Peter and Paul in San Francisco, California with access to children.
Danielson's current whereabouts, his status as a priest, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
