Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Martin McCamley:

According to the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report in 2001, Fr. Martin McCamley was accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy in 1997. A victim reported that McCamle, along with another priest, would touch his genitals when spending the night at the victim's home. The report also stated that Fr. McCamley was a sexual partner the other Pennsylvania priest, Father James Bunn and that they both molested the young boy together. According to the report, in 1981, when Fr. McCamley was vice-principal of a Catholic High School, he was reported to the bishop for allegedly molesting a 16-year-old boy. Still, the bishop "dismissed the complaint outright." Catholic officials kept Fr. McCamley on the job, which "endangered children for another 25 years," the grand jury found.

In 2003, Fr. Martin McCamley was accused of sexually abusing a child in the 1970s while serving at Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown, PA. Parents of a former student said Fr. McCamley became a family friend and shared a bed with their son during a choral festival outing when McCamley was music director at the school. McCamley was then placed on administrative leave from Our Lady of Victory by the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

In 2008, another victim by McCamley came forward. The victim indicated that McCamley sexually abused him while McCamley served at St. Patrick's Church in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. McCamley would grant the boy special privileges when he served in the choir. He would take him to eat at restaurants and on trips to Pittsburgh. McCamley sexually abused the boy in the rectory of the church and the car when traveling. He would touch the boy's thighs and body. The victim was initially afraid to tell Father McCamley to stop because "he was a priest," and he thought it was "ok." However, when Father McCamley attempted to shove his hand into the victim's pants, the victim resisted, which infuriated McCamley, and he took it out on the victim in choir.

Fr. McCamley was permitted to retire in 2004 and currently resides in Orlando, Florida. Whether he has access to children is unknown.
