Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Sister Kathleen Francis Honc:
In 2007, a woman came forward and accused Sister Kathleen Francis Honc of the Franciscan Sisters Order of sexually abusing her sometime between 1962 and 1971, while she was a student at Melbourne Central Catholic School in Florida. Honc was then removed from her position, but because the victim was over the age of 12 when the alleged abuse occurred, the case had passed the 7-year statute of limitations for prosecution. Sister Honc died in 2016 at the age of 85.
