Summary of Abuse Allegations Against Father Albert Stallings

Father Albert "Pete" Stallings was a Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of Baltimore in Maryland. In April 2023, Maryland's Attorney General released a report alleging 156 Catholic clergy members sexually abused at least 600 children over six decades. The report lists the names of the abusers, including Father Albert Stallings.

According to the Attorney General's report, in 2002, a man reported having been sexually abused by Fr. Stallings between 1978 and 1980, when the victim was 8 to 10 years old. Fr. Stallings sexually abused the victim in the rectory and the church at St. Clare in Essex as well as outside near the Back River Bridge.

Fr. Stallings died in 1990, but his name does not appear on the Archdiocese of Baltimore's list of priests credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor.
