Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father John Bradley:
Fr. John “Jack” Bradley was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1954 who served in the Diocese of Fresno. During his priesthood, he visited nearly 150 countries on all seven continents. According to media reports, he was accused in a 2003 lawsuit of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl in Fresno, CA, in the early 1960s. The victim was said to have been pregnant and sent by her family to Fresno to live with friends who attended St. Agnes Mission, where Bradley was serving. Bradley’s accuser said the abuse went on for five months.
After Fresno, Fr. Bradley returned to California to work at Our Lady of Angels in San Diego, California. Bradley is not listed in the Official Catholic Directory after 1970. Fr. Bradley died in 2020.
