Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Eric graduated from James Madison High School—alma mater of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Senator Bernie Sanders, and Judge Judith Sheindlin. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany, where he served as the youngest chapter president of his fraternity and led service initiatives, including efforts for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Eric earned his J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law, receiving the James V. Mangano Scholarship and the Dean’s Award for Excellence. During law school, he completed internships including a judicial internship with the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
Admitted to practice law in New York in 2018, Eric has focused exclusively on representing survivors of sexual abuse since joining Horowitz Law in September 2023, devoting the majority of his practice to clergy sexual abuse litigation.
