Robin Kissin

Robin Kissin joined Horowitz Law after many years devoted to seeking justice for victims of crime as a prosecutor in New York State. She is a dedicated and compassionate advocate for survivors of sexual abuse, known for her empathy, approachability, and ability to truly listen to her clients.

Robin has been admitted to practice law in New York State courts since 1982, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She represents survivors of sexual abuse across New York and provides valuable support to the firm’s legal team handling matters in Florida.

Before joining Horowitz Law, Robin graduated cum laude from SUNY Albany  with a degree in Communication and earned her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law

Robin began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, serving under the Honorable Elizabeth Holtzman. There, she prosecuted felony cases and advanced to the position of Senior Attorney in the Economic Crimes Division. After relocating to California, she worked with several prominent civil litigation firms with nationwide practices.

Following the birth of her first child, Robin returned to New York to be closer to family. She continued her career in general civil litigation with an international law firm before founding her own solo practice, where she focused on family law, real estate, general litigation, and bankruptcy.

After moving to Florida, Robin joined the Office of the Florida State Attorney General, first as a paralegal and later as a certified attorney. In that role, she represented the Florida Department of Children and Families in hearings protecting the rights and safety of children.

Robin’s lifelong commitment to justice and compassion continues through her work with Horowitz Law, where she helps survivors of sexual abuse find their voice and pursue accountability.
