Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Stephen Anderson:

Fr. Stephen Anderson was ordained to the priesthood in 1979, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Erie. He served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Callistus and at Our Lady of Peace. He also taught German, English and Theology.  According to media reports, in 1998, he was appointed pastor of Our Lady Queen of the Americas where he served until his death in 2013.

In April 2019, the Diocese of Erie announced that it had received an allegation of sexual abuse against Fr. Anderson, and that the allegation is under investigation by its internal review board. The Diocese of Erie did not release any additional details, such as the age/gender of the alleged victim, the nature of the misconduct alleged, or Anderson’s assignment at the time of the alleged abuse.
