Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Mr. Jonathan Borkowski:
Mr. Jonathan Borkowski was a former lay employee of the Diocese of Erie. According to media reports, in July 2018, his name was included on its list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. At the time, Borkowski was the subject to an internal investigation by the Diocese.
In April 2019, the Diocese of Erie released an updated list of clergy and laypersons who are credibly accused of actions that the Diocese believes disqualifies them from working with children. The Diocese of Erie has never released any information about the allegation, such as the age/gender of the victim, the misconduct alleged, or Borkowski’s affiliation with the Diocese of Erie.
Borkowski is believed to be residing in Fairview, Pennsylvania.
