Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Robert Zasacki:

Father Robert Zasacki was ordained a priest in 1967 and served in the in Archdiocese of Newark. He served in multiple parishes throughout his career. In November 1980, he was sent to Minnesota for the treatment of alcoholism. He began ministering in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and in 1987, he incardinated there.

According to media reports, in May 2002, Father Zasacki was permanently removed from the ministry after the Archdiocese of Newark received an allegation from an adult man that Father Zasacki had sexually abused him as a youth in the early 1970s, in Newark. The Archdiocese's internal review board determined that the allegation was credible.

In March 2008, Father Zasacki died.

In February 2019, Father Zasacki's name appeared on the Archdiocese of Newark's list of credibly accused priests, which indicated he was the subject of one credible allegation of abuse.
