Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Andrew Dittrich:

Fr. Andrew Dittrich was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1960. He's worked in Maryland, the Philippines, New Jersey, and New York. According to media reports, in 2002 and 2018, Dittrich was accused of sexually abusing minors between 1966 and 1976. The allegations were found to be credible after an investigation.

Dittrich, who served at Rider from 1977 to 1989, was one of 50 clergy members on the list of credibly accused child sex offenders in New Jersey and nearby states. In March 2019, his name was included on the Jesuit list of "USA Northeast Province Jesuits with Credible Allegations of Sexual Abuse of a Minor." Details of the allegations, including the information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Dittirch's assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

Dittrich died in 1990.
