Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Brother Neil Emon:

In early June 2002, Brother Neil Emon was removed from public ministry because of past sexual misconduct dating back to the 1970's and 80's. The Diocese of Phoenix and the Crosier Order were aware of multiple complaints against Emon when he was assigned to Phoenix.

Emon was put on restricted ministry, but was still able to minister publicly. These restrictions were actually put in place after an earlier allegation was made against Emon in 1991.

Emon was finally removed from all priestly duties in 2002 after the second set of allegations.  His name also appeared on the list of "Crosiers with One of More Credible Claims of Sexual Abuse of Minors," published in 2014, and also on the Diocese of St. Cloud's updated list of accused clergy as well.

Emon remained in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was resided under a safety plan with the Diocese of Phoenix for some time.  He eventually returned to his home state of Minnesota, where he died in 2019.
