Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Solomon Bandiho:

On December 12th, 2014, The Diocese of Phoenix released a statement that they had learned that Father Solomon Bandiho had been arrested for suspicion of child prostitution. The arrest was part of a sting that was set up by Mesa police detectives. Bandiho showed up expecting to pay and have sex with a 16-year-old girl, who was actually a detective as well. At the time, he was working at the St. Helen Parish in Glendale as an assistant pastor. The Diocese of Phoenix stripped him of his priestly duties and he was prohibited from public ministry. They also  had claimed they had done a background check on Bandiho and nothing suspicious had come up when they hired him. His current whereabouts and whether or not he has access to minors is unknown.
