Father Aime Trahan was an Edmundite priest and worked in the Diocese of Burlington in Vermont, as well as in Canada, France, and Germany. He retired in 1979 and died in 1984. According to media reports, in August 2019, his name appeared publicly on the Edmundite order’s list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. It noted an allegation of child sexual abuse in Vermont in the 1950s was received in 2004.
