Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father James Frost:

According to media reports, in October 2003, Fr. James Frost was one of 24 priests named in a lawsuit alleging child sexual abuse. One victim claimed he was repeatedly sexually abused over a ten-year period (200-300 times) as a 10-year-old altar boy in the 1970s through the 1980s. The abuse allegedly began while Frost worked at Holy Innocents Church in Flatbush, and continued through his next two assignments at St. Mark’s in Sheepshead Bay, and St. Sebastian’s in Woodside, New York.

Frost was permanently removed from ministry in July 2002. He retired in 2003.

In February 2019, his name appeared publicly on the Diocese of Brooklyn’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. His current whereabouts are unknown.
