Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Joseph Pankowski:

Father Joseph Pankowski was a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco order, and worked at Hope Haven in Marrero. According to media reports, in November 2018, Father Pankowski‘s name appeared publicly on the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted allegations of abuse in the 1940s and 1950s and were received in 2006. No information regarding the allegations including age/gender of the victims was disclosed. He died in 1981.
