Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Anthony Ocloo:

Fr. Anthony Ocloo was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Keta-Akatsi in Ghana Africa. According to media reports, in October 2005, he was arrested and charged after an allegation was reported through the diocesan telephone “hotline” that he sexually abused a 16-year-old girl in the rectory of St. Ephrem’s in Dyker Heights, New York. He was living and serving at the church while pursuing an MBA at St. John’s University. Ocloo was immediately placed on leave and ordered to leave St. Ephrem’s.
