Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father David Hernandez Cota:

It was reported to the Diocese of Sacramento in 2009 that Fr. David Hernandez Cota allegedly sexually assaulted, fondled, and was involved in oral sex with a male under 18 years of age in 1974 while working at St. Rose Church in Roseville, CA.

Cota left the Diocese of Sacramento in 1985 and was incardinated in the Diocese of Nuevo Casas, Mexico, who was informed of said allegations. He was named publicly as accused on the Diocese of Sacramento 2019 list.

No information has been released as to what Hernandez Cota has been doing since he fled to Mexico.
